YenzoTerms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Yenzo app and website, operated by Kintara Limited, Unit 704C, 7/F, Block 3, Nan Fung Industrial City, 18 Tin Hau Road, Tuen Mun, New Territories, Hong Kong (Company No. 78220127). By using Yenzo you agree to them.
1. What Yenzo is
Yenzo reads food labels from photos and shows general information about a product's nutrition, additives and degree of processing, using a published scoring method.
2. Not medical advice
Yenzo provides general information only. It is not medical, dietary or allergy advice and does not replace a doctor or dietitian. Always read the original packaging, especially if you have allergies or a medical condition.
3. Accuracy
Results depend on label text, photo quality and available data. Labels can change and recognition can make mistakes. We work to keep results accurate but cannot guarantee them. Please report errors in the app.
4. Your use
- Use Yenzo lawfully and only for personal, non-commercial purposes unless we agree otherwise;
- Do not misuse the service, attempt to break it, or scrape its data at scale;
- Do not present Yenzo results in a misleading way, for example as claims about a brand that the result does not support.
5. Subscriptions
Paid features are sold through the App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
6. Content you submit
When you submit photos or reports, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use the product information in them to operate and improve Yenzo, including our product database.
7. Intellectual property
The Yenzo name, logo, app and website belong to us. Product names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify products.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Yenzo is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these terms or the service. We may suspend access for misuse. You may stop using Yenzo at any time.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
