Get a clear verdict
A colour level, a one-word verdict and the 3–5 things that matter most.
One scale. Five levels. No jargon.
Every product lands on the same colour scale, so a soy sauce and a snack bar are judged by the same rules.

A formula you can check yourself
Our method is public. It looks at nutrition per 100 g, additive risk classes based on EFSA evaluations, and how processed a product is. Same rules for every brand.

Questions
Is Yenzo free?
Yes — scanning is free. An optional subscription will add extras like family profiles, history and alternatives.
Do I need a barcode?
No. Yenzo reads the printed ingredients and nutrition table from a photo, which matters for local products that aren't in global barcode databases.
How is the score calculated?
With a public formula based on nutrition per 100 g, additive risk classes and degree of processing. The full method is on our scoring page.
Can brands pay for a better score?
No. Advertising and partnerships never affect scores. A product's result depends only on its label.
Is this medical advice?
No. Yenzo gives general, information-only guidance about food labels. For medical or dietary needs, talk to a doctor or dietitian.
What happens to my photos?
Photos are used to read the label. See our Privacy Policy for details.
